Transit Encounters began as a photographic exploration of human presence in spaces of transition — airport corridors where movement and stillness coexist, and identities blur. Over time, this work has evolved into a learning practice that connects art, reflection, and leadership development.
These sessions invite participants to pause within the “in-between” — the space where tensions become creative forces and awareness deepens. Through photography, dialogue, and guided reflection, we explore how self, relational, and collective identities shift in times of change, and how art can serve as a bridge between perception and action.
Rooted in the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) and inspired by the Transit Encounters photographic series, each session offers a contemplative yet practical space for growth — designed for executive education, leadership programmes, and cultural learning environments.
Transit Encounters: Bridging the Space Between
IDG Summit 2025 – House of People, Stockholm
In collaboration with the International Teaching Artists Collaborative (ITAC)
Seventy participants engaged in an experiential journey through three layers of awareness — the I, the We, and the Systemic. Working with the Transit Encounters images, they explored how personal tensions, relational dynamics, and global systems intersect in the spaces between movement and stillness. The workshop revealed the power of art as a tool for inner development, leadership reflection, and collective sense-making.

If you would like to bring a Transit Encounters session to your organisation, conference, or learning community, I’d be delighted to connect.
These experiences can be tailored for executive education, leadership retreats, or cultural learning spaces.
